Don't mess with cowboys

You know how at every gym there are lockers? Well I never use them and take my bag with me everywhere. It's annoying but worth it so that no one jacks me, like I said there are a lot of "darker Jews" there. No just kidding. Even if I use a lock I don't feel comfortable, because someone can easily break it or what if I didn't lock it right, so taking my bag with me is my best option. The other day I walk in and see this:


There is absolutely nobody willing to steal someone's cowboy boots, cuz if that cowboy finds you, it's hoedown time! So what works better than a lock you ask, cowboy boots that's what. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

My inspiration

It was a cool cloudy day and I was sleepy. Man I was tired, but I didn't want to risk my streak (going to the gym every workday in 2011) so I get to my car on my lunch break and took a moment. I yawned and thought, hey what if I take a nap and just go after work. After weighing the pros and cons I look over and what do I see? :


Yes, you've guessed correctly; a bee. Staring at me from outside my car window. So then I take it as a sign from B (Bianca) to get my butt to the gym and workout.

Cheeseballs

Ok, so it was my birthday on Jan 25, yes yes happy Bday to me, but with birthday comes food and I mean mostly junk food :( .





I'm afraid I didn't fair well against my cravings for brownies and cheeseballs. I think I ate so many cheeseballs that I am looking more and more like one.


I'm going to start eating some raw and steamed veggies in place of these terrible snacks, cuz it's time to make that change. On a lighter note, I had a great bday!

Pilates

I have been hoodwinked! Steph and Michelle said they were going to pilates on Thursday night so I agreed to go. Little did I know that they said Pilates and not plates. Man, I was hoping for a steak plate. Instead I got rump roast Pilates. I sucked by the way and am sore as hell, but the only way to get better is to practice, so yes count me in on Tuesday. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

The Streak Continues

So far I have worked out everyday during the weekdays. Yesterday, I almost ruined my streak because I forgot my freaking shorts. I usually bring two pairs, but no. I forgot my pairs so I had to resort to my swim jammers:


Sexy outfit right? Well at the gym I did some elliptical and sauna, even had sometime to HANG around:

The Signs

Maybe I should've listen to the signs...


There were more than one:


Pigs all around me and sure enough I stuffed myself like a pig.


I ordered a chicken sandwich and ordered steam veggies for my side, but I think I still did some damage. Going to need to run a couple miles to make up for it tomorrow. Don't quit . Start again tomorrow!

Full Week!

I worked out 5 times in the first week of 2011 (Mon-Fri)! Starting off hot. Now it's time to start kicking in the diet and the fat will melt off. I just discovered that the Jewish community gym has a sauna! Time to melt it away!
